The name “Florida” seems to be cursed. Why do I say that? Because over in South Africa, they have a town called “Florida” — and it was in this special area where a dude made a piss-poor attempt at a kidnapping and was immediately caught.

In a video taken of the event, the man can be seen approaching a child and trying to steal them, only to be immediately confronted by everyone else in the area. He was later arrested, at which point it was revealed that attempted kidnapping was kind of his thing.
