You don’t get to roast us about our school shootings and then say you want to go to prom. That’s not how that works!

The American education system isn’t the best. I don’t mean that to be all, “Oh, we suck” — I mean, we’re literally not the best. We spend way more on education than other countries, and in return, we have test scores that fall behind South Korea, Germany, and even Canada. Canada!

But still, there’s something alluring about the American school system. Sure, our teachers might be paying for supplies out of their own pockets, but look at the lockers! The football teams! The dances!

The Europeans on TikTok have seen these things, and now, they really, really want to be us, even making “fan cam” videos of totally average American high schools. Here’s what some of those videos look like:
