Has the sun felt different to you recently?

Internet users believe all sorts of dumb conspiracies, from claiming that half of the world’s population doesn’t exist to believing that everyone with a black eye is secretly part of the Illuminati. This isn’t to say that every conspiracy theory you read is wrong — rather, it’s just showing how insane some of these theories sound to someone who isn’t fully brain poisoned by being too online.

One of the stranger theories to emerge in recent years is the idea that the sun used to be yellow, but is now white. As reported by Miles Klee for Rolling Stone, these theorists claim that, when they were younger, the sun was yellow. Now, it’s white. Why?

Well, according to this guy, it’s because the sun was replaced with a reflector during the eclipse earlier this year. Although it’s unclear if he’s serious, some of his commenters are definitely on board.

“I’ve been saying that the sun hasn’t felt/looked right since April 8th as well,” wrote a user. “My garden didn’t put out near the yield it had since the ‘eclipse,’” stated another. “Sunlight is absolutely different to the way it used to be,” offered a third.

Feels the same to me. But what do I know? I’m vaccinated!
