The main attraction of Carowinds, an amusement park in North Carolina was shut down on Friday, June 30 after a visitor filmed a crack in the support beam of the 325 feet tall, Fury 325 roller coaster. 

The Fury 325 is the "tallest of its kind" and was the main draw of rider-goers at Carowind. The video was filmed by Jeremy Wagner, who said he had trouble keeping his camera straight as he "knew how quick this could be catastrophic." 

How the amusement park's maintenance teams didn't find the crack before a park-goer baffled just about everyone who saw the video, and will hopefully be further explored in any subsequent investigation. 

Just remember, "ride at your own risk" only covers rides that don't have huge cracks in them.
