You’d hope that if you paid over $2 million for a car, it would be able to do pretty well in a race. Unfortunately for the owner of this Lotus Evija X Electric Hypercar, not only did it not win, but it crashed almost immediately after leaving the starting line.

This occurred at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and while no one knows exactly what happened, we can just be thankful that no one was hurt — we all know that EV accidents can get a lot worse.
