The legends of Davy Jones and his infamous Locker have been told by many a sailor, and they got the Hollywood treatment in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. According to the lore within the POTC universe, Davy Jones cannot set foot on dry land, but there is a famous scene where multiple parties including Jones have a parlay on a sandbar - which Jones attends by standing (quite majestically) in buckets of water.
