Actions have consequences, and although many perpetrators are able to escape theirs, karma has a funny way of catching up to most people eventually. 

Take Boris Johnson, who's featured in this gallery. Like the United States, Britain's conservative party pushed for more active voter registration laws, including requiring an ID. Boris was at the forefront of that push. No matter what you think of the law, one would imagine that Boris would understand how to comply with it. Instead, he was forced to leave an election site without voting because he forgot to carry an ID with him. Now that is some top-tier karma. Was it just forgetfulness, or hypocritical thinking?

A more extreme example happened here in the United States when a New York official who pushed to allow accusations against Trump had his law used against him in a sexual assault case. Maybe he should have thought of that possibility first.
