This story comes to us from the subreddit, Malicious Compliance. It's arguably the greatest revenge tale ever told. It's got it all, a hero, a villain, the perfect dose of karma. And it's begun to make the rounds on the internet.
Our author begins by telling us that they had just moved to a new neighborhood and that their phone company had given them the phone number of a popular Chinese restaurant that no longer existed.
However, this was in a time where paper menus were still a thing and the menus contained the old phone number (which now belonged to a resident.)
Things escalated pretty quickly, as weekends were loaded with answering phone calls from customers wanting to order Chinese. Most people were reasonable, while others were intolerable. I'll let our hero take the story from here.

They handled this much better than I would have. It's my phone number now, I don't have to tell you sh*t! Goodbye. -
