If you didn’t know, coyotes are not dogs. 

Dogs are loving, family-friendly companions. Coyotes are their sketchy, Wild West villainous cousins that dogs don’t want to spend their Thanksgiving with. So please, stop kidnapping coyotes.

While it is funny, it shouldn't be a surprise that so many people can't tell the difference between a dog and a coyote. There are so many people on Facebook and local community boards who were being stalked by a bloodthirsty coyote who then proceeded to trap it, take it home to their kids, and keep what they thought was a “feisty” German Shepherd.

As a bonus, we also found a family who kidnapped a fox and one person who thought they found a house cat that was, in fact, a mountain lion.
