Movies are full of little details that writers and directors want you to notice to help you feel immersed in the world and the plot.
But sometimes they add moments that connect the movie to the outside world, and let the astute viewer know that the movie is aware of itself and its place.
But while some movie easter eggs are well known, others are much harder to catch. Here are 20 movie easter eggs you hopefully haven't seen before.

In “Little Italy,” Emma Roberts wore the same T-shirt as her aunt Julia wore in “Mystic Pizza.” Both movies were directed by Donald Petrie. -

In “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” Miles's roommate is playing the upcoming Marvel’s “Spider-Man 2” for PS5. Confirmed by a developer at Insomniac. -

In “Scream 6,” a man in a Mojo Jojo costume passes the main characters. The voice actor for Mojo Jojo from “The Powerpuff Girls” also does the iconic Ghostface phone call voice. -
