A.I. is seemingly coming for all of our jobs — even the beauty queens aren’t safe. Fanvue, a subscription-based social media platform similar to OnlyFans, recently announced the world’s first A.I. Creator Awards, namely Miss A.I., a beauty pageant for A.I.-generated creators.

According to the site, Miss A.I. contestants will be judged on their “beauty, tech and clout” and go into the running to win a major cash prize of $5,000 in addition to A.I. mentorship programs, PR services and more, courtesy of Fanvue.

A major A.I. creator on Fanvue who will be acting as one of the judges of the competition is Aitana Lopez, who has over 300,000 followers on Instagram and is “powered by A.I.” Through Fanvue, fans can subscribe to Lopez for $15 a month to see NSFW content of a woman who, it needs to be stressed, isn’t real.

While A.I.-generated models like Lopez are looking more and more human with every passing day, that disappears once you see them in a video; the technology simply isn’t there yet. Take Alba Renai, the first “non-human” host of a weekly segment on the Spanish version of Survivor. In a video announcing her introduction to the program, you can tell the creators have struggled with perfectly syncing up her voice with her mouth, not to mention struggling with the mouth itself. At certain points, it looks decidedly non-human, with what looks like skin connecting the top of her mouth to the bottom in a very bizarre way.

Despite this, for many of the internet’s horniest users, close enough is good enough — if the A.I. girl has the requisite large chest, flat stomach and great ass, that’s enough to pique their interest and keep them entertained when they’re looking for something to get their rocks off to.

Hopefully, human online content creators and beauty queens alike offer audiences enough that they aren’t rendered entirely obsolete by A.I., but again, at least for now and at least with this pageant, A.I. looks like it’s coming for beauty queens, too.
