Two drag queens from the Philippines recently proved that sometimes, the aerial stunts are best left to P!nk and the cast of Cirque du Soleil, plummeting to the floor during a recent harness snafu.
Though the pair had clearly rehearsed their routine, one set to Nicki Minaj’s “Fly,” spinning throughout the venue with grace — and a whole lot of charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent — their number came to a screeching halt after their harness appeared to snap from the ceiling, sending them plummeting to the stage below.

While several were concerned that their spectacular tumble may have finally put the “death” in “death drop,” — “Hope they're ok,” @heyvjmendoza captioned their now-viral upload of the clip — the queens’ luck, training, and let’s be real here, probably padding, served them well, the pair emerging largely unscathed from the several-foot fall.
“HELLO LOVES, IZZY AND I ARE FINE,” wrote Nique Manza, a professional aerial artist and one of the queens involved in the stunt, per Google Translate.
“Minor injury only. But overall we are ok,” they continued. “Thank you for your concern.”

So take it from these queens — if you’re gonna fall, at least turn it into a shablam-able moment.
